The
Winery

The traditional Mayer am Pfarrplatz winery, the epitome of Viennese wine culture, has been producing the finest Viennese wine in Döbling since 1683.

The vineyards are located entirely within the Vienna city limits in the 17th and 19th districts.

Countless awards and prizes at national and international wine competitions underscore the high quality of the wines from Mayer am Pfarrplatz.

Our
Origin

The goal of the traditional Viennese wineries is to highlight Vienna’s best sites and thus distinguish wines of special character, finesse, and longevity.

The site classification is a seal of quality for vineyards that, due to their old vines, soil structure, exposure, altitude, and microclimate, have produced magnificent wines for decades.

Our
Online Shop

In our online shop, you will find our self-produced products at ex-farm prices. For orders of 12 bottles or more, we deliver free of charge within Austria and Germany.

We have the perfect wine for every occasion – our classic wines are characterized by lightness, fine fruit, and excellent drinkability – while our single-vineyard wines are marked by complexity, minerality, and longevity.

Our sparkling wines are excellent as gifts or refreshing aperitifs. The Fräulein Rosé von Döbling, with its elegant, Southern French style, is perfect as a summer and terrace wine. For a digestif, we recommend the Wiener Gemischter Satz Tresterbrand, distilled for us by the Carinthian premium distillery Pfau.

Our
Winery Shop

Our
Vineyards

Vienna is the only metropolis worldwide with significant viticulture within its city limits and a unique terroir. The Viennese wine region covers approximately 640 hectares of vineyards.

Our local wines come from the Grinzing, Hernals, and Wiener Nussberg vineyards. Our wines from the Preussen and Langteufel sites are classified as Erste Lage (Premier Cru).
